To be honest the DBs not turning their heads was because they were running full speed down the field trying to catchup from being torched. Mostly #44 whoever that dude is. Yeah, Hawthorne looked bad in this game.

-Armstead just moves people. When they run to his side, there's a gaping hole.

-Ingram is a lot more decisive, and accelerates through the holes fast. He's running by tackles because of it.

-On the TD pass, it looked as though Hawthorne and Lofton both thought they were assigned to the HB and let the FB go free. From the offensive alignment, it seems that Hawthorne should have picked him up.

-We've been hearing repeatedly in camp that McCown holds onto the ball too long. This is very much true.

-Slap Yo Momma redzone

-I hope Ryan comes up with or runs some type of drill this week to get our db's to look back to the ball. If you don't that, you're playing a completely different game from the WR.

-Payton definitely gave someone the bird on the sideline after SJB gave up that TD (I think it was after that play).

I watched it a couple of times as well, and agree with you on most.

-this is not hyperbole, Armstead could be an all pro. He is huge, but not fat huge. He is physical at the point of attack, and his feet are amazing, like Rex Ryan foot fetish amazing.

-Ingram looks legit, FINALLY!

-I thought they were in zone, and no one fell into the flat. I could be mistaken.

-Griffin is the 2, no doubt.

-Slap ya Mama redzone is fricking awesome!

-This is the first time I have ever seen that style of coverage since Lou Tepper.

-rumor has it, Payton has given his bird to some saintsations too.

He didn't give the bird to anyone. After the defense got called for its 3rd consecutive penalty on a Rams TD drive, he held up 3 fingers (talking to Ryan) to indicate that it was the 3rd penalty on the defense during that drive.

I'm not usually this guy, but how can you call yourself a fan if you haven't watched the Super Bowl at least 3 times?

Why would I watch a game three times? Does the game change? I already watched it once...I've gone back and watched highlights of the superbowl and NFC that year but for 5 minutes tops.

Even the espn analyst don't go back and rewatch preseason games

You don't?? Pick up so much more the second time, besides you can advance or backup for certain plays.

I agree. He was great in his 15 or whatever snaps. Really can't wait to see him against the Falcons.

I watched a bit of their defense. It's not pretty. The way they were playing made Jackson and Soliao pretty much worthless. Tackling was bad. No pass rush against a pretty bad Dolphins o-line.

By contrast, their offense looks improved.
