I think almost any undfa scrub in this RBBC offense could easily re-produce 50 yards 17 times out of 43 games.

Do us a favor and add the attempts into this easily reproducible number.

You act like I should be teary-eyed that Ingram might go waste someone else's money next year.

Nope. Just pointing out that this debate is all academic at this point 'cause, "He gone."

Might as well use Ingram up while the Saints have him. That way, his next team will have to pay him more.

For the sake of debate, I'm busting all the Ingram lovers balls over semantics. Both are quality backs.

Which have been refuted with clear cut stats every way you tried to spin it.

quote:

Reality is Mark is finally turning into a good back from the end of the season continuing into this year. He's not consistent enough to be a feature back, imo. The Saints need a Robinson for the next game when Ingram decides to rush for 16 yards against a good defense.

Robinson hasn't shown much consistency at all in his 2 years here either.
Last year: 38, 37, 9, 53, 9, 4, 6, 0, 18, 50, 45, 57
This year: 28, 31, 69, 87, 89, 26
If it wasn't for one run in dallas game, it'd be closer to 30 and not 87 as well.

quote:

I do really believe Robinson has more acceleration in the hole, similar to Doug Martin, thus I think Robinson would be, in the long run, the better back for this offense, especially with Lorig in the lineup. But that's JMO.

Similar to Doug Martin, who has done nothing since year 1. Mr. Muscle Hamster is also on the trading block.

quote:

Either way, I think we have a good backfield, if we can stay healthy. I personally can't count on Ingram consistently having "good games" so I wish Robinson would get healthy soon.

Robinson doesn't have many "good games" either. You say 50+ yards is a good game. See posts above with the %. 6/18 games 50+ yards for Khiry, 17/43 games 50+ yards for Ingram.

39.5% of the games > 33.3% of the games

What's your next argument on Khiry is better?

Not gonna waste time.

But I think most sane people would agree had udfa Joique Bell not been injured and the Saints had not released him, that Bell could have easily re-produced Ingram's RBBC career numbers.

Well had my dad had a vagina blah blah blah. The bottom line is you keep saying well so and so has potential. Ingram has actually done it, and has been running consistently well for us since coming back from injury midway last year.

That is something any sane person would see.

Khiry is 6/18.
Cadet is 0/33.
PT is 30/105.
Ivory is 10/26.

Just a fyi, unless Khiry can do what PT does in the passing game, your argument is pointless.

Ivory's issue was he was made of glass. He's the best pure RB of the 4 main UDFA we've had.

Refuted as in Robinson is now not a quality back?

Now, you're the one trolling.

Sweet deflection. No one claimed that, and I'm sure you're aware.

Refuted the fact that Robinson > Ingram. You spin it any way, no numbers point to it at all.

Your ONLY argument is that Parcells says so. Well guess what, Parcells like every analyst/former coach can be wrong.

Ivory is a top 5-10 back in the nfl when healthy.

He's never healthy

he lit up the 31st ranked rushing defense yesterday...man, he was on fire

and no he wouldn't have because he'd have played in a RBBC

Chris Ivory is made of glass.
Mark Ingram is made of acrylic.

One shatters, the other breaks.
