If you figure Brees will throw between 600-650 passes again (barring a legitimate shift in offensive philosophy) at his now standard 70% complete rate, they will have between 420-455 catches to go around.

If Colston, Cooks, and Spiller each go for 80 and Watson and Hill go for 40 each there will be 100-135 catches left to split. With the way Brees spreads the ball you figure to have about 5-6 other guys with 5-20 catches. Assuming 6 guys average about 12 catches that's another 60, leaving 40-75 balls left. So someone from that WR group is primed to have a decent year.

Updated 53 man roster guess with some of the new additions. The guys in bold are extremely likely to make the final 53, imo.

QB - 3
Drew Brees
Luke McCown or Ryan Griffin
Garrett Grayson (If Grayson beats out McCown & Griffin...then I guess we just go with 2 QB's)

RB - 4
Mark Ingram
CJ Spiller
Khiry Robinson
Marcus Murphy (Jalen Saunders makes the team as a returner/WR if Murphy doesn't make the team)

FB - 1 (I hope we don't keep Lorig around)
Austin Johnson

WR - 5 (we might keep 6)
Marques Colston
Brandin Cooks
Nick Toon
Josh Morgan
Seantavius Jones, Brandon Coleman, Joe Morgan, or RJ Harris

TE - 3
Josh Hill
Ben Watson
Harold Spears or Orson Charles

OL - 8
Terron Armstead
Zach Strief
Andrus Peat
Max Unger
Jahri Evans
Tim Lelito
Senio Kelemete
Mike McGlynn, Sean Hickey, or Cyril Lemon

LS - Justin Drescher
K - Hopkins or Hopper
P - Thomas Morstead

DL - 7 (Maybe we just go 6 here, b/c some OLB's can play DE)
Cameron Jordan
Akiem Hicks
John Jenkins
Broderick Bunkley
Glenn Foster
Tyeler Davison
Bobby Richardson, Tavaris Barnes, Kaleb Eulls, or Lawrence Virgil

OLB - 5 (kind of hard to fit them all in...might go 6 if they all perform)
Junior Galette
Parys Haralson
Hau'oli Kikaha
Davis Tull
Anthony Spencer(He better be healthy...he has plenty of competition), Kasim Edebali, or Ronald Powell

ILB - 4
Stephone Anthony
Dannell Ellerbe
David Hawthorne
Ramon Humber

CB - 5
Keenan Lewis
Brandon Browner
PJ Williams
Kyle Wilson
SJB, Delvin Breaux, or Damian Swann

S - 5
Jairus Byrd
Kenny Vaccaro
Rafael Bush
Pierre Warren
Vinnie Sunseri

Looks pretty legit.

Also, updated the list and we are free of all Ginger Grahams. We went from most in the league to least.

Griffin must beat out McCown to stick.I do think they keep 3QB as plan could be in three years Grayson as starter with Griffin the back up.Seantavius Jones makes it as 5th or 6th WR.Orson Charles as 3rd TE.Lorig could stick as 3rd TE/FB over Charles but Johnson the FB.Last year they kept 9 OL but other than week one only Two QB.Hopkins is the new kicker.6- CB an 4 -S as Browner has played saftey an no way they cut Stanley Jean Baptiste an he may be best moved to saftey.
