1. New Orleans. Every other American city is your repressed parents. New Orleans is your overweight, fun uncle who has an eyepatch and a fanboat.

16. Charlotte: Did you know that prior to the California Gold Rush the United States' leading producer of gold was Charlotte? I learned that after Googling, "tell me something -- anything -- interesting about Charlotte."

22. Tampa. The city is famous for its many excellent ... (my mom reads this) ... libraries.

25. Atlanta. The name of a really good television show and a really mediocre city.

29. Dallas. When a Dallas resident needs a blood transfusion they set up an IV bag full of A1 sauce.

some of the others are funny too

New Orleans isn't better than NY, SF, Boston, or LA. That's a joke. And if having fun is the main idea, then NO may be better than Dallas, but Dallas is a much more livable city than NO.

New York, Boston, and San Francisco don't have NFL teams. New Orleans does and the dome is within walking distance of everything.

How we as residents (or nearby) view new Orleans is completely different than the nation. Learned that a very long time ago.

When people respond like this, I have to wonder if they've ever actually been to Los Angeles. You probably wouldn't put it at the top. The funny thing is, the good parts of L.A. are the outskirt areas.

Moved to Los Angeles last year. That statement is 100% correct. I live on the West side closer to the beach areas. I try not to travel into the downtown or Hollywood areas. Until you've traveled here, people usually think of Hollywood as something kind of special. It's FAR from that. The outskirts are definitely 1,000 times better.

Overall, Hollywood is a shithole. Los Angeles is a ghetto, but the outer areas like Santa Barbara and further northwest along the coast is beautiful. Venice Beach is a shithole. I'd go to San Diego or San Francisco before ever going to L.A. ever again.

You mean Arlington

And as an NFL destination, Nola is the best. Reading is hard for you

Nola is absolutely better than Arlington, Foxborrow, LA, and wherever the frick SF plays now.

The Saints have an absolutely amazing setup compared to the rest of the NFL with the location of the dome

Nola wins based on proximity to everything needed

It is one of the best party cities there is. It's unique. Is it the most livable? Absolutely not. But for a weekend trip to see your team it's tough to beat.

NRG in Houston is probably one of the better located stadiums in the league

Still drives me insane every time I go to a game there, even with the train.

I live in midtown too, so it should be better for me than most. Really makes you appreciate the setup Nola has

Seattle has a great setup too

You ever lived in Dallas man? Yes, very comfortable place. You ever had people visit you from out of town while you were living in Dallas? Ever had them ask, so what is there to do in Dallas and come up with an answer that wasn't brunch or uptown bars?

It's a livable place but it ends right there.

Anyone in the media will tell you New Orleans is the best Super Bowl site for this very reason - among many other things.
