If the Pels win around 47 games, I think Monty stays, regardless of playoff status. If they win 40-42 games, I'm pretty sure he's gone.

And looking at the schedule, that's pretty realistic. If this team is around .500 after December they'll be primed for a run to just miss the playoffs.

The top 5 teams will definitely plateau at some point, which will help the teams lower than them. No way that 5 teams win 62+ games.
