Dell Demps says Tyreke resumed on-court activity on Saturday, Pondexter suffered a rehab setback. Both to be reevaluated in upcoming weeks

Demps, away from podium at @GNOsports luncheon, clarifies that Pondexter is simply expected back toward the back end of recovery timetable

QPon is Ellerbe, Ellerbe is QPon.

Good Lord. Are they just putting Robitussin on QPon's knee and hoping that does the trick?

they should have fired every single person from the training staff at least 2 years ago

They kind of did, they just replaced them with retreads from across campus.

Dell Demps' full quote on Tyreke Evans' timetable after returning to on-court activities this past week:
quote:

He started the beginning of on-court activiities, so it's just going to be how his progression goes. He's been working hard. His body looks great. We'll have a better indication in maybe two weeks. We hope to have him back hopefully before January. Could it be late November? Maybe. Maybe early December, mid-December. It'll all [depend] on how his rehab goes over the next couple weeks.

If we could hit December 1st with Jrue and Tyreke, that would be pretty amazing. A guard rotation of Jrue/Buddy and Tyreke/Moore is really really strong.

not to start this conversation but I dont think Jrue and Tyreke should ever be on the court together. Tyreke would be really good with Moore and decent with Buddy

That's why I had Buddy starting with Jrue, as much as I respect Moore. I'm hoping this next month plus will be enough for Buddy to get a decent feel for the game. And Jrue's return is the perfect opportunity to match him with Jrue.
