I really don't get it, it's like a retarded spam bot. Who is this supposed to entertain? It's not like we're mad, the emotion is more apathy with a slight tinge of confused pity.

I just view it as a test for the PT inner circle. If you dont recognize it immediately, you aint been coming to the weekly meetings.

Its like sons.

I wanna salvage this thread, or at least get some other opinions

Phoenix calls you and offers PJ Tucker and Chandler for Tyreke and Ajinca. What would you say? I can see it both ways. Thoughts?

You may just have accidentally created the most even trade of all time. Even to the point of pointlessness. My head may explode. Thats not even 6 in one/half dozen in the other. Thats straight up 6 in one/6 in the other.

I say no only because of the future cap implications. Chandler is under contract for two more years after this one. No thanks. If it were Vucevic then hell yes

tucker and chandler are useful
Evans and ajinca are not
why would phx offer that?

it goes without saying I'd say yes

Because Chandler has only averaged 65 games a year the last 5 years, turns 34 next week, and is owed $13 per the next 3 years. I'd rather run the clock out on Asik than take on Chandler. To have them both on the roster would be insane.

I also question how much value you'd get out of Tucker. He's only got 1 year left before he likely gets a pay raise, and he's not significantly better than Hill and QPon, I'd say their in the same tier. If QPon actually comes back and Hill lives up to his contract you don't have many minutes for Tucker.

If you KNOW Q Pon will come back and stay back, I agree. But I still don't think you can assume that yet

eh not so much. better than Asik obviously, but that's a low bar.

they pull the trigger on that deal, they are paying $24M annually for the next 3 years for the worst center rotation in the league. At least right now it's *just* $14M per for the same 3 years

Now maybe, they believe Chandler can sprinkle magic vet dust on Davis. Awfully high price to pay for that

the eternal question.

I would have said Tyreke but he has a blood clot now.

I didn't realize chandlers contract was so long
I guess that's that

tucker they could use regardless of money especially with the injury uncertainty with pondexter

My biggest pro for the trade would be that both these guys fit the culture of what the team wants. We talk about Rudy Gay or Monroe, etc and those guys simply don't fit what we heard over and over again on media day. Do they have offensive talent? Yes. But weren't those the exact type of guys that got us in this mess anyway?

PJ and Chandler are blue collar guys who don't demand the ball and/or shots. They play defense, etc.

On the other side, having Chandler anf Asik for 3 more years, taking up over 20% of your cap ain't great. Especially when AD is gonna finish games at the 5. If you re-sign Jrue next year, that is basically your team for the foreseeable future. You'd have to hope for internal growth and hitting on a gem rookie or cheap FA.

I'd lean towards no, but I wouldn't be upset if they did it.
