We were sold a set of damaged goods. Philly arse raped us in that trade. I'm hoping he can finally be healthy next season. If he's healthy, then he's a difference maker. Up to this point though, he hasn't done shite just like everyone else not named AD.

I don't think he a difference maker. He's a great fit and what you need in a pg but far from a difference maker. I think the high price we paid is what has made him overrated to our fan base. Because be real Jrue was a solid player in Philly but he got his numbers the same way he did this year. Being the only option and having a high usage rate.

When he plays, he is an excellent on-ball defender.

He was a 3rd alternate PG all star in the Eastern conference, the year before the trade. He's been hurt his whole time here.

It still blows my mind the NBA fully guarantees contracts for hurt/injured players. Teams should get some kind of relief.

And struggles on screens which is the most important part of being a defender.

Being a 3rd pg all-star in the east mean very little. Guys like Kyle Krover become all stars in the east.

I just dont understand how you can suck Tyreke's dick so hard. Makes zero sense and is just fricking odd. Anybody can see Tyreke is a low basketball IQ player and not a team player.

Isn't this one of things we can fricking drop. How many threads and posts need to be spent on that trade?

Especially when it was a season when all the good PGs in the east were hurt (Rose, D. Williams and somebody else I can't remember..)..

I don't think Tyreke is a great player but on here he's considered trash and hurts the team but we've done nothing but win with him starting. With Jrue he's untouchable and a great piece that has done nothing since being here we have yet to win with him. I just don't get how these assessments are made.

Overhype? When healthy, he is one of the most underrated players in the league.

Also I find it funny when ppl talk about AD leaving forgetting about Jrue. Unless we have a great season next year why would he stay here. Its been nothing but bad for his career. The only way he does is if we stupidly pay him max.

There's 4 really good PG's in the NBA; Curry, CP3, Lillard and Westbrook.

After that there is no one significantly better than Jrue. he's in that next category with:
Wall
Lowry
Thomas
Jackson
Walker

Do you really think Lowry and Isiah Thomas and Reggie Jackson and Kemba Walker are better than Jrue?

Only 9 players finished with at least 16ppg and 6apg this year, and Jrue is one of them, while playing the least amount of minutes per game by far.

I don't think Jrue is the #2 we need, but i think he's important to this team, and is needed as the 3rd option.
He's much better than the combination we would have gotten in the draft had we not traded him, which likely would have been something like Burke or MCW and McDermott or TJ Warren
