Just got the ESPN alert that we're sending Uncle Al as our representative at the lottery.

I wanted to make a post but chose not too.
So last night I'm looking at the Vegas odds for the lottery. Pelicans are +5000. For those non gamblers that means if you bet $100 you would win 5,000, or 10$ for $500 etc..
As I'm looking at this I pull up the Tankathon site and tell my friend "hey the lottery odds are kind of interesting, I might place a little bet on it"
Right as I'm saying that I hit "Simulate Lottery" and he tells me to bet the Pelicans, this all happened simultaneously. You're god damn right the Pelicans had the number 1 pick! I've tried that 20-30 times in a row and never have had such luck.
So there's that guys....

I know our odds are very slim, but it's hard not to get my hopes us in these last 24 hours until the lottery happens.

Assuming we luck into a top 3 pick, who would be the realistic trade targets other than PG and Butler?
I can't see Dell taking a rookie in our situation, but I also can't think of any other star players that are available and worthy of being traded for a top pick.

Would be pretty sweet to get the top pick and then essentially use the same draft pick to get both Boogie and Butler

I do feel like he is going to have to change his shot, else NBA defenders are going to block the shite out of it with how low his gather is.
