Who do we spend it on or do we just use it to fill out the roster.

This roster is dysfunctional. We need to bring in impact players and not marginal players. Everyone outside of Davis should be considered for replacement.

Question would you guys be willing to trade Jrue to Houston or the Jazz and if for what?

Dump Demps before he can do any more damage, please.

No on both counts. Who do they have that we'd want that they'd be willing to give up? Harden and Hayward aren't coming back for Jrue, and if you trade him for a handful of depth players, how does that help the team? Jrue and AD are our only 2 way players.

Pretty damning when you put it that way

So this would be tanking/blowing it up, but...

If Utah offered a deal featuring Rodney Hood for Holiday, I'd at least consider it based on where things are right now.

How does that help you blow things up? To blow things up we need picks and to move Asik.

Not sure that would even be tanking. I like Hood and think he'd fit well here. We were given damaged good in Jrue, to the point where he hasn't really affected our w/l record anyway.

It'll be difficult to trade Jrue considering his history and minute restrictions. Maybe next yr when his contract is up.

I don't think they're able to move Asik. Plus they need someone like him- Davis doesn't look ready or interested in playing the 5 on defense. This is a step. You get a young versatile talent like Hood, then the other dominoes can start to fall. Anderson/Gordon, maybe Evans, play the PG market, draft etc.

True enough. Maybe not tanking on the court, but the perception might not be great. I agree on Hood. I don't think Utah would move him easily.

Absolutely. I do think, if he can show consistent health, this is the year to move him (if he's healthy, do you move him is another conversation). The buyer gets Holiday for just $11M all of next year. Not bad value if he can play around 30MPG
