Let me preface this by saying a poster on Reddit claims this. I didn't look it up or try to confirm, because I'm lazy:
He currently leads the entire NBA in points per possession as the roll man in the Pick and Roll. The entire NBA.
He also is the most efficient player in transition offense in the NBA. Again, out of everyone, not just big men.
Pretty amazing if true.

Yea but it's only 11 games. I'd still take Deron Williams.

Deron Williams or dwade over Davis is laughable

But Deron and DWade would take a dump on Davis. Or so I'm told.

good centers/pf typically have higher PER than any other position. not take away from AD though, but overall his efficiency on both ends of the court is mvp-caliber if he can keep it up. 2nd year in the league and winning mvp?! hell yeahhh
btw. lebron is shooting >60%
can you say insane

3 of the top 15 in PER last season were PF or C (Davis was one of them)
*not counting the guys who barely play or who were hurt
