First of all, I really like Larry sanders as a player. Also, his contract is odd for trading purposes this season, so it may be hard to acquire him in the first place. The trade would be Gordon,Steimsma and Aminu for Sanders, caron butler and their first round pick this year(top 3 protected). The draft pick could be a gamble since the bucks are terrible, but that would be the only way they would part with that pick if it was top 3 protected. I think Sanders would be great to pair with davis for years and Butler has a nice expiring contract that would free up additional cap space and the potential to get back into this loaded draft class. Thoughts?

There are about three things in the NBA that would convince the Bucks to part with that pick, and their names are LeBron, Kevin, and Anthony.

I think a lot of people are over estimating Gordon's trade value. 2 similar but not as young players, Monta Ellis and Kevin Martin, just signed for about half as much per year as Gordon.

Teams that would have interest in Gordon either don't have the cap space or market desirability to attract even a Monta Ellis type. While Milwaukee does fit that, Sanders has much more value around the league and a Gordon for Sanders trade would probably involve a 3rd team getting Sanders. Getting Sanders AND their pick for Gordon is bad enough that a rule named after the Bucks GM would be added to the next CBA.

One often overlooked factor in message board trade proposals: Both teams would have to agree on the trade.

You sir, get an upvote.

Some of these trades I just click on for a good laugh. Why not try at LeBron?

ETA: I meant to quote the guy above me.

Sanders, Butler, and a 2nd rder could work. We wouldn't get the pick if top 3 protected bc the Bucks will be the worst team and they'll more than likely get #1 overall, so what'd be the point? Betting on dumb luck?

You cannot win in NBA without a dependable starter at EVERY position. This is why I'd do this. Sanders is above average young 5. We could throw Anderson in at starting sf and be complete. Then Butler/FA's off the bench. I really don't think Aminu or Gordon are essential to this team's future.

Throw in a potential 4th or 5th overall pick, I'm all in.

Obviously nobody will give away a potential top-3 pick.

Just being a fan here.

The Bucks would be morons to accept that trade.

The Bucks would laugh hysterically at that proposal.
