I wish. That would be the greatest event in this board's history.

But that's not happening.

How about a similar fashion to what portland did to houston last year?

"If the West (especially our own division) weren't so stacked I'd be more confident of a playoff berth."

Amen to that. You can be plenty good in the West and not make the playoffs. IF the Pels make the playoffs, that is something to be genuinely excited about ... I know I will be if it happens!

Most probably not, but it's a long season and shite happens.

Davis impacts the game a hell of a lot more than Lillard ever will.

I can't wait to see the look on your face when EG sends y'all home with one of his patented game winners.

ha in case you haven't noticed HOU is the #1 d in the NBA the chances of a Caldwell Pope, Dudley, or Collison being out there playing defense for us is 0. Those shots don't fall as easily with an Ariza or a D12 in your face.

Lillard is clutch, he made more game winning shots last season than AD has in his basketball career.

IDK, what is more important to you, compiling stats during the game but not making game winners, or not putting up as many stats, but making game winning shots...

The players have to be close in ability in the first place, then something like clutch stats can be the deciding factor. Kinda like championships in football. No Trent Dilfer isn't better than Marino bc he has won a super bowl and Marino hasn't, but when comparing players who have similar careers, Super Bowl wins can sometimes be the deciding factor. Kinda like that.
