Because you have tried to paint anyone that doesn't hate this trade as a Demps apologist, yet most of the people you've called out as Demps apologists have called for him to be fired for multiple years. You are not merely stating your opinion, you are being overly and incorrectly judgemental of those that disagree with it. While we are talking about this actual trade and it's potential impact on the team, you are using this trade as a proxy argument about Demps' entire career. I didn't try to paint everyone, only a certain few. When I said everyone, it was a figure of speech, not literally everyone. I've seen the season long "fire Demps" threads. My concern is that Demps is still there making moves, not the recent trade.

I mean I think Demps is a bum, but you can't criticize him for not surrounding Boogie and AD with talent when he hasn't even had a chance to do so.
You can criticize him for a lot of other things though.

He hasn't had a chance to surround them with talent. He just got Boogie at the past trade deadline. He couldn't make any moves if he wanted to. The draft hasn't happened. Free agency hasn't begun.
Revisit this in about a month.

Like I said, you're arguing with people that don't really disagree with your general position. Obviously you have some feelings you need to get out and I think that's what happened here.
Demps is not 100% bad, especially since Danny Ferry came on board in an official capacity. This looks like a smart move designed to give the team leverage and options in the Holiday negotiations. That doesn't mean I think he's Jerry West, but this is a make or break year for the team so we have to hope for the best.
