I'm not sure "ahead" of him is the right way to put it, but Thibs is a fairly known quantity and I want Demps to do a thorough investigation of the young "geniuses" on the list. Hoiberg, Atkinson and Miller stand out the most, I also like Malone.

This makes me feel better about the whole "did he or didn't he" situation many were worried about. It pretty much reaffirms what we thought about those surrounding AD the whole time. AD might have been a Monty fan because they were close. At least there is a strong support system around him that felt the exact opposite.
Jackson is a "hell no" for me. D'Antoni I could live with. He hasn't had a team that fit his required personnel worth a crap in years. Those Suns teams were great. We are built to run like he'd like.

I want Thibodaux, and he's changing his name to the correct spelling.
Kenny Atkinson is too inexperienced for this team, and Mike Malone just doesn't impress me. Both seem like really good assistants, like Monty, but not head coaching material.
