I don't know if we should draft him or not, but i've watched a lot of Kentucky games since we got the first pick and Jones is really impressive.
I know the positives on MKG, but Jones was their second best player in the games i've seen. Kind of comes off as a less skilled Michael Beasley. He measured bigger than Beasley, but I think he'll have some of the same PF/SF position problems as Beasley.

i think he's underrated b/c of the addition of davis and the sharing UK did last year (which people easily give davis a pass for doing, in terms of stat-based comparisons). jones had a really solid freshman year
he reminds me a lot of horford, but i doubt he ever becomes that consistent from 15-18 feet

OK he wont play the 2...frick! I think he'll play more 3 than 4 though. I see him as a 17-10 guy eventually and with his and Davis' length our half court D will be sick.
Chad Ford:
Chad Ford's thumbs up, thumbs down: Up -- Versatile, athletic wing. ... Huge 7-foot-2 1/4 wingspan. ... Can play three to four positions on the floor. ... Lefty is a terrific ball-handler. ... Is an excellent passer. ... Can score from anywhere on the floor. ... Much improved rebounder. Down -- Some mechanics issues with his shot. ... Needs to spend more time in the post. ... Can fall in love with the 3-pointer. ... Demonstrates poor body language. ... Inconsistent motor.
