Hopefully next year it won't be: I remember when people were saying they would take Gordon over Klay Thompson.

Remember when Harden had his instagram account hacked and it said he got traded to the Hornets right before the Olympics?

Damn.

I don't think anyone would disagree at the time: LINK

It would be awesome if he could get healthy over the rest of the season and offseason and produce at that same level again next season, but it's unfortunate that the fans and local media are trying their best to run him out of town before he gets the chance.

exactly..how long is his chance?

2 seasons, but we're running him out before he's had a chance?

I said it, and it might be the dumbest thing to ever come out of my mouth.

I also said it. Maybe I just wanted to believe it so bad.

He's been fine after his setback at the start of the season. He's not playing as well as he should but he is still a solid player at the moment. I'll eat my crow if he misses a lot of games again next year, but I think his stringent rehab plan and minutes limit as well as an entire offseason of work will be good for his future health. I just don't want us to make a mistake and sell low only for him to get back to his level of play with the Clippers.

Compare hardens 11-12 season not the 10-11 season.

I know Harden was a little better at that point, but I used both 10-11 seasons as the point when people started comparing the two. I don't think Gordon will ever be as good as Harden, but I think he would be a lot closer right now if not for the injury issues.

Gotta do better than solid for what he's making.
