I can look at it the other way with Parsons. Without the injury, you probably have no shot at him. If you can get him because more teams are hesitant and then he returns to form, you get someone you couldn't have otherwise. I would give him the max and if he signs it I am good, if not I move on

And yes, Tyreke COULD be that in theory, but as soon as they get the chance..... He gone
Did they not have an opportunity to unload him last night? I figured if the Kings could get a 1st for Belinelli, anything was possible. Or is it that he cannot pass a physical at this point?

Would think Batum would be above him on our list.

But we have way less of a chance of getting him.

Belinelli has more value around the league than Tyreke right now. Let that sink in.

Man, imagine if Tyreke would have played 70 games and finished last year healthy. George Hill got the 12th pick and Belly got 22. He could have gotten us something AND we couldn've dumped money.

Darn shame.

I think you're looking at it wrong no matter how much y'all hate Tyreke for no reason he's not being shopped.not one sliver of report even said he was on the market.Jrue injury is still a question mark and neither can be depended on to stay healthy so they are insurance for each other. He's not being shopped and he won't be dumped. The only way he gets traded for something that helps us now.

and get ready for a big off season next year.

Nothing personal, but I am sooooooooo sick of reading this every year.

It's like "tomorrow" It never comes.

You don't want to throw out a bucket load of money in this upcoming absurd FA market.

Next years crop will be among the strongest in history so its a better play to wait till then.

And where was the report that we were trading up for Diallo before it happened?

I must have missed that.

Look, man, you can hold out hope all you want. And maybe they won't move him because they can't, but he isn't a part of this team long term. Its only a matter of time

I'm not disagreeing, it just seems like every year it's something, some reason why "Next years off-season will be the time to strike."

This year its kind of true though. Next year would be a better year for us to strike.

that's the draft you won't agree to trade up before the draft unless you know you have a chance to get the guy you want. I'm so confident Reke won't be dumped I will stop posting here if he is. I do think if the can get a solid return will some decent guys on good contracts he will be traded but just dumping him like everyone suggesting won't happen.

Honestly, the best time to strike is when you are clearly on the upswing. Guys want money and winning. Everyone has money, so ability to win now and long term is the #1 selling point. Can't sell that now. Maybe if we go from 30 wins to 48 and Buddy wins ROY and AD is back in the MVP chatter, then we can get guys.

It's a stretch, but its not absurd to think its possible
