Here, I will help you:

quote:

Pelicans are reluctant to give up Brandon Ingram in any deals.

I’m told that the Nets have inquired on Ingram, Nance & picks.

If I’m Brooklyn, I’d want to meet with Durant to see if he was on board coming to Nola.

IF it’s doable: From what I’ve been told: Pelicans would rather do a deal centered around a multitude of draft picks. Their own plus the Bucks and Lakers ones they still have.

My first thought is "reluctant" isn't a strong enough word.

If we're giving up BI, you get Temple, you don't get Nance

NOLAjake said this could be the reason the rookies haven’t been signed yet. Somehow signing vs not-signing makes a difference when trading rookies. I don’t know the rules tho.

You're probably right, but if we are, we aren't giving up anything else that has value.

I would be pissed if it was KD for BI and a first. BI is fricking twenty four. No way should we give them BI and a multitude of picks plus nance. frick the nets and frick kd.

The problem is even if the Nets were interested in a pick heavy package, I don't see how we could afford to bring in KD without sending out BI or CJ.

Where are the cap gurus to answer this for me.

Rookies can't be traded for 30 days after they sign.

They can have ALL our picks if it means we keep BI, Dyson, Herb, and Trey.

Literally all of them.

Unfortunately for us, the Nets traded all their picks to the Rockets so tanking isn't an option for them. They want players over picks.

I just tried it using Graham Nance Hayes Lewis Murphy and Daniels. It showed that it worked. We could give them a bunch of 1sts and swaps too. There is a deal to be made..

For salary purposes, we would have to send out BI, CJ, or JV.

Of course, Brooklyn would prefer BI, but that just wrecks our family atmosphere. If we send CJ or JV, we almost certainly have to include Dyson, EJ, and either Trey or Herb.

Plus, whatever picks are needed.

But, no deal is going to happen unless KD wants it. We're not the Raptors.

We’re better than the raptors. Also a third team could send the player requirements and we sent them picks. A lot to be made of the situation. I will not stand for losing cj bi zion or herb tho.

We're not going to send out six players for one guy and then sign a bunch of minimum guys off the scrap heap. That's not a recipe for success.
