I hope we can somehow pull a 3-way with Atlanta that sends Josh Smith to the Rockets, Chandler Parsons and Omar Asik to the Pelicans, and Ryan Anderson and other considerations to the Hawks.
Getting Parsons is probably a pipe dream, but...

That would be a terrible move for the Pels. Anderson has a great contract.

I love Ryno, but there's something about acquiring Asik that makes a lot of sense. Honestly though, I haven't paid too much attention to Houston (why would I in any sense) or Asik. I can just look up the numbers. I just know we need someone at the 5 so that AD can do his thing at the 4 (that's where he'll help us the most).

Poison pill Morey put in the contract so Chicago wouldn't match. Cap guys (42, TigerinAtl, ThrillHo et al) will have to explain if that number changes if Asik is dealt

His contract has a clause that if he gets traded it jumps to that. Essentially trying to be a no trade clause
