Tidbit from a Zach Lowe podcast

They also like montejunas as well

quote:

Lowe: They want a four in free agency this summer, the Pistons, really badly. They’re going to look at Stan’s old friend Ryan Anderson. I’ve heard they’re hot on Motiejunas from Houston who’s always hurt. So, who knows how hot they actually are?

The way he said it made it sound like they'd wait for FA, not trade for him.

Considering they have Ilyasova and Marcus Morris already, I'd say you are correct

Marcus is playing SF

Ersan isn't really all that anyway

Morris plays PF when playing with Stanley Johnson. Morris under contract 3 more years, he's their PF of the future as of now. Ilyasova there another year

Not sure what the motive would be to trade for Anderson much less pay him the rumored max in FA

I have a feeling Ryno is going nowhere unless Demps gets a good return.

Pretty similar numbers to Anderson if I recall.

They are ready to move on from Ersan, but we aren't going to take him. So who would? Let's give Detroit everything they want. Let's help Phoenix and Houston get what they want. And let's take Archie Goodwin and some 2nds for Ryno. ESPN - Successful

Better or worse than Rudy Gay straight up? There will be no trades.
We will win more games and pick somewhere from 6-12.

Asik's contract keeps us blocked at spending money on a 5.
So we will draft one with the first round pick. Welcome, Jakob Poeltl.

We're going to resign Ryno, and pray Harrison Barnes wants to come start for Gentry. KD leaves OKC, the Mavs get older, Dwight leaves Houston. We're a 5 seed next year.

Yeah they are the same player outside of Anderson's high usuage rate.

They also get Morris for 3 more years at $5m per. They would be laughed out the building if they went after Anderson

What about Anderson to the Magic for Tobias Harris?

They need a 4..I know they have Aaron Gordon but I think they have him listed at their SF..they also have Hezonja as a SF..
Harris has been struggling as of late and I'm not sure how his contract works with us but if we could resign him, that may work out for us.

This "Ryan Anderson to the Pistons" deal has been a sure thing for the last 3 years.

LOL

He's their best outside shooter, and he hasn't even been there a full year. Also having a solid year.
