I've been on the record saying I would give up both 2nd round picks if we could get thon maker or Kat Barber. Barber would literally be our Ish Smith all over again. Straight baller right there.

I don't think it's too crazy. His measurables raise serious doubts about his ability to play significant minutes in the NBA. He measured in at the combine at 149lbs under 5'9" without shoes. Although his 6'2" wingspan does mitigate that some, that's tiny.

He shot just 48.5% of his 107 field goal attempts inside the paint this season, a well below average rate. So he's not much of a slasher. He also only made 34% of his 3s last year. All this while playing with good college talent.

I get that he's a floor general, had great arse:to ratio, and does things that don't show up on a stat sheet, but I think his ability to get his shot and create in the League is a legitimate concern.

I would much rather our seconds be a wing prospect with a high ceiling and a safe pick like Robert Carter who could give some minutes next year and be a productive player.

I wonder if the team would consider Zou Qi mainly as a gateway to manufacture a foreign fan base. We already have some Chinese advertisers at the arena.
