I like Hield, I think Moore needs to start though.
Its not about who's better, to me. I care more about Hield's development than Moore being further along today.

I think Buddy's gonna struggle trying to get his own shots on the second unit.

OT. Just what I wanted out of a game Davis didn't need to play in to begin with.

I'm looking at it from that perspective too.

In my mind I'd rather not throw him into the wolf den before we've taught him how to use his weapons and defensive tools a little bit more proficiently.

Meaning I would like to see him given the wiggle room to make mistakes and not have his leash yanked because he gets two early fouls like tonight and has to be taken out of the starting unit. To build confidence against back ups and over time ease him into finishing line ups when he is on and upping his minutes as he develops during the season. Gentry staggers lineups enough that I don't think you have to worry about Hield ever being out on the court on an island.

The last thing I would want is for him to get thrown into a role he isn't ready for, ends up having a really rough start, gets discouraged or starts developing bad habits or creates locker room rifts because we are forcing him into a position he hasn't rightfully earned.

Did he leave with a stubbed toe or did they just decide they were being foolish trying to win a preseason game?

Honestly might be a concussion.

Looked like Ibaka clocked him pretty good

He got hit in the head by Ibaka at the end of regualation...and stayed in. Because, of course he stayed in.

I'm assuming thats why he left a few minutes later.

This was the trial run for the regular season.

The one game we treat like an actual regular season game(mostly, clearly we are still auditioning Gee/Lance).

Gotta.Build.Chemis...

No team gets hurt like the Pelicans get hurt. And no team leaves their hurt guys in the game after the injury like the Pelicans leave their hurt guys in the game after the injury.

Man that game went from pretty encouraging as far as pre-season games go, to really discouraging on several levels....As far as pre-season games go.

There's going to be a good amount of games this year that we give up big leads. It's frustrating, but hopefully after a draft pick this offseason we will be set for the future

AD is going to have to really carry the team. But I am good with that. I am looking forward to watching this team go through AD and grow. We seem so much more athletic

I like hill and Moore solid players
