Johnson wouldn't be a bad target as a buy low guy. At least he can be somewhat credible from 3, but he will be 27 and is still inconsistent. Not sure how much improvement we can hope for. Like with Aminu, if he's playing 30 MPG, the Pelicans are in trouble.

Aside from general concerns about his game, the big worry is going from D'Antoni offense to Monty offense. There will be a regression for a guy who took so many 3s (4.5 per 36) heading to a system that is allergic to them

I didn't watch much of the Lakers last year, but Johnson seems right for the price. But didn't he just sign last year?

Just a one year deal at league minimum.

Not Loul Deng. I recall reading an article at the trade deadline that the Milwaukee Bucks were willing to trade any player. Especially since the bucks will probably get wiggins or Parker, the bucks would be willing to get rid of forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis would be a great piece to see develop and draws similarities to kevin Durant. I am unsure what we could offer the bucks. Maybe Austin Rivers and a future 1st rounder and in return receive Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Buck's 2nd round in this year's draft. Possibly, you could unload Eric Gordon and take on Larry Sander's contract. Hpwever, Sander's personal conduct makes him very unattractive in a trade.

They aren't. Giannis isn't going anywhere.

Sanders, I just don't think any of us know the insider scoop on his issues to know for sure whether it would be worth it. Apparently, he's an a-hole.

Sanders reportedly got into at least 3 fist fights/brawls at clubs within the last year. He actually broke his hand in one. Dude's out of control. Do not want that maniac...especially unleashed in Nawlins

I want WJ to man the 3 for us. He's basically what we hoped AFA would be

He's athletic, can guard 3 or 4 positions, can knock down the 3, still fairly young. He could be had for a reasonable amount and you may get lucky and everything may "click" for him. Even if he doesn't get any better, you still get a solid, athletic 3 you can play 30 minutes a night

Wait... Wes Johnson for the Lakers?

He's terrible.

Yes, after being a complete bust in Minnesota. Jesus people, the Pels can do better than that
