During the few game stint that he was starting, he held the crown as the worst starter in the league by a wide margin.

Does this mean no KJ McDaniels?

Did you ever see a Lakers starting lineup at any point of the season?

No, he said 2/$2.5 not $2.5 per. It's gotta be a 2 year minimum contract which means $2.3 not $2.5.

Yeah that number has to be slightly off. Has to be a minimum.

I wonder if year two is a team option.

I like Babbitt. He has a useful skillset for an end of bench player.

With a competent offensive coach, Twiggy can play a few minutes a game, hit a couple of wide open 3s and get paid and laid.

A minimum contract doesn't count against the cap right?

Sort of. It's an exception like the MLE.

It's not a minimum deal. It's slightly more. Which is fine; Don't have to use any part of exception on him

Yeah. I forgot we have his early bird rights.

I think it's due to him being a 6 year vet

He just needs to learn to catch and shoot if open or quickly pass it away and keep the offense moving. Bad things happen when he puts it on the floor and/or holds the ball. That being said, good things happen when he catches and shoots open 3s.

No, my minimum calculations were based on his years in the league. We had Early Bird Rights and could have gone as high as $5 per but obviously only had to beat the minimum. Only beat it by about $100k per year judging by the total amount. I'm sure Babbitt has a bit of loyalty to the team, we did rescue him from Russia.
