Pelicans must form a Big Three.... now!

Davis & Cousins are young and possibly the best front court in the NBA. With the NBA moving to super teams, we must go get a star wing now. Why can't we get Jimmy Butler? I want us NOW to be a championship contender. Yes, I would mortgage the future to join a Big Three of Cousins, Davis, and Butler + Holiday. It's win now!

As others have said, Pels have no assets and poor cap options (not horrid) thanks to Demps pretty much being an utter failure at his job.
In the end, the Pels have little to no shot if even building a team that can get past the first round for the next two years.

Yea, that's just not true. They have no shot at building a championship team. THey can easily become a team that wins a playoff series, though, as soon as this upcoming season.

I would think that having AD/DC has to at least improve your odds of (A) getting visits from players who otherwise would have never come here and (B) getting free agents to take a reasonable contract rather than gouge us as a cash grab
