Don't know much about him. 6'7 SF been with the Pacers the past few years.

Another player the ilk of Cole, Pondexter, Cunningham, Gee imo. Average backup at best. Maybe Pondexter isn't coming back soon?

When you've been shuffling through Nate Robinson starting opening night vs Steph Curry, Jimmer, Tony Douglas, etc a mediocre nba body sounds nice

At 24 years old I would take him and hope he develops his shot as long as we trade Babbit for him.

Dealer Dell Demps dials up Larry Bird...

DDD: Yo Larry. Gimme a good deal on Solomon Hill.

LB: We are currently looking for a first round pick, but we are willing to be flexible.

DDD: Aight Aight, give me a sec to check something out

LB: Take your time

DDD: This is good shite Larry. I just checked my Excel spreadsheet and I noticed we still have our 2016 1st round draft pick available to trade. I thought I traded it for Asik, but I remember Morey was generous and let me keep that one in that deal where I got a top 4 center. Is our 1st enough for Solomon?

LB: Yeah, I'll take a 1st and Ish to make the salaries match up.

DDD: Outstanding. Thanks for being so flexible. What position does Solomon play again so I can tell Mickey ?

Funny but I wouldn't be shocked if it's Babbitt/Douglas(who indy liked) and maybe a future 2nd for hill.

Yeah you're right. Those scrubs would never play over the allstars ty Lawson, Trevor ariza, and Clint Capella. Hell they would never even play on the illustrious 9-11 crotch city rockets.

On the offensive end, Hill perhaps exceeded expectations. After working with multiple shooting coaches over the summer, he shot 32.7 percent from 3-point range, not a great percentage, but a slight improvement from his .308 clip as a rookie. But Hill made noticeable strides in other areas, particularly attacking the basket.

The sophomore showed a particular fondness for making runs at the rim in the halfcourt offense, both off the dribble and off of cuts. He threw down several emphatic dunks in the lane over the course of the year that ignited the Bankers Life Fieldhouse crowd.

Sounds like he's a bigger version of Gee? Or maybe Dante on defense with Gee's offensive game but more confidence than Gee because he was forced to be a primary option with all of the Pacers injuries? I guess you can't complain if the price is only some guys you won't be using much (Babbit/Douglas) but stockpiling backup SFs doesn't seem to get us closer to a real SF.

Probably more about trading Offense (Babs) for Defense (Hill).

Tinkering with the end of the roster to find a role for players.

Ariza is on another level from any of those guys. Lawson ranked in the 60s as best player by ESPN NBA rankings prior to the season. The highest any of those guys is ranked is in the 200s. Exact science? No not at all. But you get the hint. Considering Capela is a center no none of those would play over him.
