Pelicans #4 in the League at Forcing Defensive Movement.

This would seem to be a good fundamental indicator of doing what they want on offense. So why was the offensive efficiency top 10ish earlier and now it's fallen to 17th. Is that all Norris Cole laying bricks?

Print the shirts.
But in all seriousness, 5 out of the top 10-12 teams in the league are in the bottom 7 of that graphic.

Well it because no one knows what the hell they're doing and have to move around causing the defense to move and adjust.

I wouldn't read much into this. It's nice. I prefer more movement aesthetically, but Jimmys and Joes matter more than xs and os.
Much like total passes or assists, I would imagine there isn't much of a correlation between this and having a good offense.

The only thing that chart proves is that Chicken Alfredo and Cornerstone have some kind of secret basketball bromance going on.

Dude orders 2 every time he goes

No idea where or when that is from, but that is a pretty good clue as to why the offense has sunk.
If those are accurate stats, Ish played 327 minutes with Davis and is about even with Holiday/Evans for assists to him. Those two have played 559 and 492 minutes with Davis, respectively. Other factors like playing with Gee/Asik matter, but Ish played with shitty lineups too.
I will say that certainly some of Holiday's minutes are off ball and that can depress his total.

Yeah Holiday has played off ball a lot. Only 49% of his minutes have come at the point guard position.

They are also top 5 in losing.

Did you come up with that yourself?

Am I wrong? The point is the stat has nothing to do with winning or losing.

Where did I try to connect it to winning or losing? As stated in the OP, we seem to be achieving something you'd expect to see when running Gentry's offense successfully, so why has the offensive efficiency actually declined not just from last year but from earlier in the season? So far Ish vs. Cole seems to be the best explanation, which means this team might not get out of the bottom 5 without a trade.
