Plus playing a starter with bench players doesn't make the "bench" stronger

last year our bench players were our starters, relegating our bench to 10-day contract guys. Ajinca, Asik, Hollis Thompson, Tim Frazier, and Terrance Jones all started at one point or another got between 15-25 mins a game. This year our bench is for the most part where they belong...on the bench. Add at least one or 2 "starter-level" players and its much better than last season

These guys aren't even NBA level players, save for maybe Frazier.

Right now, pretty much everyone outside of Miller and Diallo (who are still question marks) that are projected to get playing time are at least NBA level players.

Last year at times with AD out Jones put the team on his shoulders and stepped up, even got a few surprising wins including the one against the Cavs.

Oh, and over. I'm in the 45-52 range.

Push. The team will battle for the 8th playoff spot but will fade at the end. The team lacks a bench, outside shooting, bench coaching and too many low bbiq players.

Erik
Rondo is out for sports hernia.
Rest. 1 month, out of condition, leery.
Surgery, 3 months and 4th month to work into game shape.
Plus its not like he could shoot before this.

They won 34 games last year with a much worse roster. A full offseason of AD/DC together is enough for me to say over. They are going to win a good bit of game because these two are going to live at the FT line. Clark is a nice piece, Rondo is a nice piece (he will probably miss 12-15 games) over Frazier. Allen is an elite defender.

Sticking with 45-50, though it'll probably be about 45. Just don't see how they aren't at least 5 games better than last years team. They started off 0-8 last year, no way is that happening again. Also, 11th in the NBA post trade as far as net rating and they were top 10 defensively.

I take the over, confidentially.
