I'm getting worried that he's playing himself out of our range unless we win a top 3 pick.

If we get one of, Porter, Zeller, Noel, Muhammad, Bennett, Oladipo, or Mclemore, i'll be happy.

We need to stay in the top 7.

Hopefully he keeps climbing and pushes Bennett further down so that the Pelicans can grab him. Bennett is perfect for this team and is going to be an awesome player..

We're in the same boat. The guy's a powerhouse.

When you read the scouting reports on him, they read like a prototype SF, but he still gets pegged as an undersized PF for some reason.

They say he can shoot from deep, take people off the dribble, run and finish in transition, all these things teams love in a SF. Then it says he's not very good offensively or defensively in the post. Again sounds like a SF.

Seems to me the only reason he gets labeled a PF is because body-wise thats where it looks like he should be, not because of how he actually plays.

I also like his intensity. Smith gives a little of that but we don't really have that super fiery type of guy on this team.

I like his game, but I don't know how well it will translate in the NBA. IMO he could have problems creating his own shot.

Exactly, this team needs someone with a nasty/mean streak. Plus I don't mind him being a bit of a tweener, as long as he can shoot and can handle the ball a little bit. As Davis moves to Center, Bennett and Anderson will compliment each other I believe. Just a great mix..

Haven't seen him play a full game, but watching his highlights, I question whether he can defend SFs. If he can, then yeah, he'd be a nice fit.

Just watched Bennett's highlights. Not that impressive.

1) didn't see him making many shots outside the paint
2) most of his baskets were a product of being bigger and stronger than the competition which won't be the case in the league
3) he's slow and definitely can't guard NBA 3's on a regular basis.

Porter is exactly what this team needs. We don't need yet another PF.

Bennett is a 3/4 tweener, alot like D. Williams (in the same mold as L. Johnson, R. Rodgers, C.Weatherspoon, etc..). He's a power guy that is really athletic. They have to be in the right system and play with the right kind of players to be successfull. He's been hurt lately, so his numbers have been going down. But he's definately not slow and I think he can handle most SFs in the NBA. All of this is just opinion though, we'll get the real test come tournament time..

He's like a Derrick Williams, Royce white type tweener...those guys aren't exactly tearing it up in the league. I think he would be more a luxury at this point instead of what we desperately need, which is a TRUE SF
