Davis numbers won't be as good as they were last year at seasons end. The team won't win as many games. You've got Durant back to take some votes. Leonard's emergence as a candidate. Davis ain't finishing top 5 with a .500 record.

Not my point
When's the last time we had so many MVP caliber players? Its crazy.

he's not going not finish top 5 in any case...he's behind curry/leonard/durant/westbrook/leGOAT in anyone's reasonable assessment. neither davis or harden are playing as well so far as they did last year, and davis certainly has not taken any kind of leap especially on defense. not a knock on him, it just is
this is not breaking news

was responding to this fella, you're right it's a no brainer/not news

but IF this team can play .750 ball the rest of the way and makes the playoffs with AD balling out, I guarantee you he finishes top 3.

I don't think the concepts would be radically different.
I don't think the difference would be the concepts but how they reached the players. Tyreke already appears to be tuning out Uncle Al and his relaxed ways, indeed the Prada article pointed out how Gentry has adjusted to Tyreke and not the other way around. I still firmly believe JVG would want no part of Tyreke and had him traded faster than CP3 traded Darren Collison, but Thibs would be interesting, I can see Thibs haunting Tyreke's dreams until he's either broken or great

I can be honest and say my scenario has a 0.5 percent chance of happening. However as I sit hear wondering if I eat at home before heading to the arena tonight, its just fun to imagine what it would take for a crazy turnout to happen this season. I mean if AD goes 38/15/6/4 for the rest of the year, ok stopping now.

You always come in here and shite on Davis and the Pelicans. Why don't you just shut the frick up, no one wants to read your garbage meaningless advanced statistics. Go post that shite on a board that cares about Karl Anthony-Towns.
Yeah, I mad.
Yeah, I mad.

Setting the record straight and educating people about the game are more important to me than being well liked here in pels talk. I see some positives w the pels team playoffs are still very much in reach IMO. I'm more optimistic than most here tbh bro.

Tell me why I should care about head to head advanced stats of Anthony Davis and Towns
