Their 2019 unprotected Sacramento pick should be worth a lot more now that Sac has hit the reset button. They still owed us a bit for screwing us in the Holiday trade. The least they can do is take Asik for a 2nd or not go after Holiday in the offseason.

Amazing that Dell outlasted Hinkie.

I would trade them Holiday, Hill, Asik, and Moore for their expiring contracts and Okafor.

Make a run at CP3 and save money. Pelicans would have room for two near max contracts. Or CP3 and better players to work with Boogie and Brow

Looking at mike & mike and there expert guest stated that the only player the Pelicans can maybe afford is Kyle Korver. They brought up Reddick but his price is beyond what the Pelicans can afford

A trade makes more sense than FA because you don't need as much cap space to make it work. This summer Ajinca + QPon + Frazier + 2018 pick can bring back a $19 million player.

Hopefully the Kings pick is #4, so Philly gets it, drafts a PG and has no need for Jrue.

In today's league the worst thing you can do is max a marginal star like Holiday. His contract along with Hill's, Asik's and Moore's will kill this team going forward.

That would work because they stated Reddick is in the $15 million range

That only works for trades, the Clippers probably aren't going to S&T Reddick when they want to keep him.

I think some very good players are going to be left looking for contracts this summer. The cap is only going up 6 mil. and some players wanting 10 - 15 mil. a year are going to take half that and be better players than the guys earning 10 - 15 mil. from the last two years.

I heard this. It was Windhorst. He's the furthest thing from a cap expert, just a Lebron groupie.

Yes, we don't have cap space as it currently stands, but that's assuming absolutely no moves to clear out space.

We can't trade the 2018 pick. I don't think teams are allowed to trade first rounders in back to back years.

That's why we had to select Nerlins in 2013 and then trade him for Jrue along with the 2014 first rounder.
