Am I the only who thinks it's time for them to go? Asik just takes up space and Moore just isn't good!

You should be complaining about Solomon Hill and Alexis Ajinca

So how do we get rid of them?

His 3 point shot has been off just like everyone else's but he shot 45% from 3 and if he can get back to the upper 30's then he easily will be giving us everything Gordon gave us at a much lower cost, except he'll be adequate on defense instead of being a liability.

Asik is one of the few players with a positive NetRtg, basically when he's on the court the team wins. I'm not saying he's great, but he's filling his role better than most players on this team.

Dont understand towards the hate towards Hill. Hate the contract not the player. Players like him will always have a spot on teams just because of his defense alone. He's already our most versatile and 2nd best defender.

He is not a better defender than Jrue or AD.

I think you're underestimating Solos defense. He was considered the best defender on the Pacers and they have PG13.

And Solos versatility makes him better defender than Jrue just because he can guard 1-4 on at least an adequate level.

Considered by whom? Certainly not the media cause PG13 was all defensive 2nd team last year. Now you're trying to say he's one of the best defenders in the league good? No way man. He can't "guard 1-4" either. The one time I've seen him be asked to guard the opposing team's best player (point guard), they put him on Thomas after Frazier was getting torched and he looked just as bad. We haven't even seen him guard 4s much either yet. He's a good wing defender. I like his game on that end of the floor, but he isn't some savant like you're portraying.

What the hell do you have against Moore? He's on a great contract and is a solid role player.

This team is built around AD and Jrue, with solid role players who should just hit open shots and play defense. Their shots haven't dropped thus far, but I think they will even out soon.

Disagree on Moore. He isn't a world beater, but he is solid for what he is. Decent shooter who is an above average defender.

Moore is looking like Dell's best free agent signing since Ryan Anderson.

I also love that son started this thread on the day that Moore and Asik both had really good games in a dominating performance.

There is serious perception bias when it comes to Asik. Dude could put up 15 and 12 on 9 shots and someone would bash him for missing a putback.

i can admit that i was wrong. he has shown much more than i thought he still had. still have doubts, but i do like how they are deploying him- small spurts v big lineups.

also, i wouldn't read a ton into his Net Rating. he's looked competent, but i think how they use him has more of an effect on that than anything else. i suspect if they tried to play him in more situations, we would see a healthy drop.

credit to the coaches for recognizing his strengths and playing to them. would be very easy to say "need moar rebounds ergo moar Asik" but i think that would be a mistake
