And really, he's not undersized for today's NBA. He's roughly the same size as Dwight Howard minus 20 lb. And if that allows him to move around more and guard the perimeter, I'll take it

I am an NBA guy first and foremost. Houston fan second. More a fan of the league in its entirety than any one team or player.

I wish we would offer a future 2nd rd pick to the Celtics to make sure we got gp2

And being upset about giving up 2 to get 1 is funny. It's the NBA 2nd round. It's not a big deal.

I agree. I just think its stupid to give up an asset to move up 6 spots in the second round.

We've had 1 2ND round pick in the last 10 years. How the hell do you find the diamond in the rough if you never look?

Are you for real?
This dude is 6'8" 220. he's not really bigger than draymond.

Dwight is 6'11" 265

There's 8 picks left. Take your chances rather than losing a future pick.

TBF they do share the same wingspan and Diallo only has a .5" less standing reach then AD.

Height I don't think tells the whole story here.

You guys are morons.

Diallo might end up being a good player.I hope he does. But you gave yourself 1 chance to find a good player, instead of two. That's what is dumb to me.

He's definitely not Dwight's size. He does have a great wingspan but he's shorter fo sho and not as muscular.

He's young though. I'm excited to see him in SL.

i don't necessarily disagree with this - at all, but saying someone isn't a first round talent because he slips into the 2nd round is foolish. NBA GMs and scouts routinely show they are incompetent at assessing talent.

They moved up and got the guy they wanted. 6 spots actually makes a huge difference in the 2nd.

It's dumb if the guy you picked has a grade relatively similar to the guys available at 39 and 40. But if Demps and Ferry were really high on this guy? Then it makes sense.

Not sure I have enough knowledge about these second round guys to die on that hill arguing one way or another.
