I really don't see Brooklyn as a suitor unless they are a faux suitor just doing a favor to an agent. They finally get their picks back in 2019, that should be prime tanking time. Do you really want to give an untradeable contract to Jrue Holiday when by the 2018-19 trade deadline at the latest you should be looking to sell everything of value off and tank?

The Knicks are really the only other team that makes sense. I still don't think Jrue gets much more than 20ish to sign, wherever that may be, because of how the cap shook out this year. Last year should turn out to be an aberration. So many teams are regretting those deals.

With d'angelo russell on the market it's just another point guard to dilute the market

The ONLY teams that can beat our offer are NYK, Philly, and BRooklyn And I don't think Jrue will be atop any of their lists. If I were a betting man I'd say it comes down to us and Knicks
Knicks could end up with a solid PG in draft at their position.

Jrue is repped by Glushon Sports Management after Jason Glushon left Wasserman. His book is so small, I seriously doubt he has any pull with any teams. He has the Holidays and Horford as his only real clients.

I would venture a guess that one is a 4 or 5 year offer and one is maybe a 3 year offer with a 3rd yr PO.

That's how it should be, which is how they should have handled Asik.

I'd also bring in Teague and George Hill for visits. Utah is going to be trying to keep
Hayward and Indy is a dumpster fire and I don't see Teague returning. Hill has said he wants to wait and see where Hayward signs, so if Hayward goes to Boston Hill might be an option for us also.

I still think they might be a suitor. They have a room for it.

Also we dont know what Marks will do. Will he go after RFA (KCP? ). Or heads towards Europe?

I'm predicting

Rubio traded to mavs who also re sign Noel and dirk
Hayward to celtics in a sign and trade for the nets pick next year and a player
jrue re signs here for 3/75
I'm hoping George goes to the lakers for the #2 pick so we can laugh at the lavar ball meltdown

This makes no sense. Celtics can just sign Hayward outright with minor roster moves. No way Danny Ainge is going to give up the Nets pick for no reason.

Would be fun, but doubt that happens either. No reason to give up a #2 pick when you can just get him for free next year.

Especially if the Celtics go after Hayward there's no point in paying to accelerate getting George. If you know PG really wants to come, if you give up your pick it should be for something that would make George more interested in the Lakers than a 19 year old guard. Maybe something like a 3 way with us and a team like Charlotte where the Lakers get Cousins and the Pels get something like Kemba and Ingram.

I'm not saying I'm ready to trade Cousins, but if the Lakers do trade their pick it shouldn't be for PG13 but for his eventual costar.

It's not major news but according to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks are interested in Dante Cunningham.

What is the cap situation in Indy? Isn't Lauren originally from there? I could see Jrue heading there if there was interest both ways and its financially feasible.

They have a lot of space. $70M in contracts, Teague's $13M caphiold, Miles $7M caphold and a Lavoy Allen option for $4M. They can add a max player.

DC was a solid player for the price here. Not sure how much he will command on the open market.
