We've done Mardi Gras countless years. It was okay for them to take a break and give us what is probably the best team identity and color scheme they've ever given us. I'm okay with the Mardi Gras theme coming back, but I'm going to be sad if the Skelican theme is one season only.

I like most of the Mardi Gras uniforms in the past but I think the skellican is awesome. They needed to switch it up a little bit and compared to most other teams the Pelicans killed it.

Why not both? Is there some rule about only having 1 alternate?
Maybe they’ve played better in the skellican. January-February was a rough stretch last year

Yes... the NBA limits teams to 4 uniform combinations... Pelicans have their 4
White, blue, red, skelican
ETA: Skelican was needed for the IST

i actually don't mind the logo... the use of the bones on the wings is neat...
but those jerseys are straight shite... the MG jerseys, and the fleur de lis city edition from a year or two ago should have been reused, or updated, rather than going in a completely different, and terrible, direction

Many just want to generally see MG stuff available even if the same year to year. Pels play 1-2 months in MG season and many want to rep but can't find MG colors they're looking for.

Idk if you have noticed, but we are like 4-28 in those damn Mardi Gras jersey’s. I’d rather win games than have our having our players sport purple, green and gold threads for clout. We play soft as baby shite in those unis.
