so if drew brees becomes injured for 2 years and the saints go say 3-13 and 5-11 should sean payton be fired?

Dude's making millions. Not molding YMCA junior athletes. I think whoever signs his checks probably has a little eagerness to win.

i think Monty is excessively hyped up with not a whole lot of success. He's not perfect, but he has done a lot with a little.

When your team is one of the youngest in the league and missing its max player, expectations for the season are different.

Not even remotely comparable. Sean Payton is a proven coach with a ring. Monty Williams is a first timer who couldn't do sh@t with the best PG in the league. You guys or going to have to try harder. I feel like I'm fighting the Williams Family tree

Monty is the coach, not the GM. Are you trolling or just stupid?

Not when you're in the middle of a rebuild. This season and last season were throw away seasons. If next year is more of the same then something does need to change, but the problem here seems to be you not accepting that the team is rebuilding.

How good did they do before him? First round exit also, interesting.

This season's a throw away? With the consensus #1 pick in the draft, number 10, Ryan Anderson acquisition, and Gordon signing? No. The Hornets were projected to be a resurgent team making a playoff run. I know Gordon's out, and AD missed a few. But now that he's back, we still can put together complete games. If you can't win without a star, then you aren't a good team. Do we keep this guy around and hope that no one else will ever get injured, or that maybe we'll get so many lottery picks that we have a team so talented that it doesn't matter who coaches?

And why did we get rid of the guy who did that? Because we under preformed with the talent on the team. Ala Monte his first year.
