Hayward going to Boston to team up with college coach Brad Stevens to try to take down LeBron.

If you don't think Calipari + Davis + Cousins could recruit more UK guys like Wall, Bledsoe, etc then you're a damned fool.

Relationships are KEY and Cal is the absolute best in the business at making them.

frick. We are wasting a once in a lifetime opportunity on Dell Derps and Dumbass Uncle Al. frick.

ETA: chris paul still hasn't gotten out the 2nd round.

I like thought your process tbh. Are we trying to be "good" or "respectable"...or do we want to be a champion for all of history to remember?

We neeed to go for it all while we have the opportunity with AD and Cousins

Won't do much good if he is still not that great of a coach at this level.

it ain't my money so I say pay Calipari to be President of Basketball Operations.

I also don't know if he's interested in that, but it all sounds good in my head.

I don't understand why you people think you can just throw a bunch of money at him and he will just drop everything and coming running down here

Cause he wanted to come here at the right price when we fired Monty. Now AD + Boogie + right price, and he should be ecstatic to accept the job.

According to McNamara he even had a bunch of people call Benson on his behalf like James Carville. That was something new that he said in the last week on one of the threads here.

Seems specific enough for there to be reality to it.

You guys give MM too much credit. For every "hit" he has, there's ten misses. Weren't the Holiday bros supposed to sign with y'all? Instead you only got Jrue back.

At the end of the day, MM is paid for click bait.

How is he paid for click bait? Most of the stuff he posts that would qualify as that are posted on twitter or here. He gets paid for neither. The podcast doesn't even have any sponsors. He also has killed multiple twitter accounts which resets his follower count, something that'd be important if he was trying to maximize the clicks he gets paid for. I'm not saying he doesn't value attention, but most of the people that simply dismiss him seem to be assuming his motivations are that of a professional journalist, which he is not.

Man if MM said that Trump was a black man in disguise, half of PT would believe it.

We know he has sources with the team because he mistook Repriesh getting fired for Monty getting fired. He also has broken news before it broke like Diallo. He's had enough hits that what he says is worth considering. We also believe his sources are within the Demps camp which is important when considering the potential bias in the source. For instance not many believed him when he said Demps was safe last year because what else would a Demps source tell him?

It's just another piece of evidence to consider, and people should try to poke holes in even woj sourced information. That's the value of a place like TD, you have enough differing opinions that you can see past the spin and misinformation that comes with most news.

No, we just don't get triggered by the guy. Most of us also realize there are zero insiders behind MM for the Pels. So yes, I pay attention to what he says. It's pretty obvious he does have sources for anyone paying attention.

Is he the most well connected insider for his respective team in the NBA? No, not even close. But he's the only consistent source we have.

ETA: I'd add I'd much rather talk about his rumors than constantly see threads turn into debates about Crewz.

You have a choice of reading / listening to MM or waiting for national writers.
I will take his infos all the time. Bash him if You wish.

It is your choice.
He has a record. And knowledge. And character...

If only Kush would have full time Pels job...
