Just realized lakers pulled out... Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the Lakers just realized they are not getting better with that trade

Well, I'll be spending the rest of my night listening to this while picturing Kevin Martin in a Hornets jersey.

Seriously, this is the worst Hornets news I've ever heard.

I sorta saw it coming. just thought the rockets would be the one to pull out.

Lets take a look at this emotional roller coaster we've been through over the past 2-3 days.

1st) Most people were fairly optimistic that we would somehow make a deal with the clippers or GSW and get some young upcoming superstars in return.

2nd) Initial report comes out that we're trading CP to LAL for Bynum and Gasol. Everyone freaks out and is pissed. Then we find out that it was a typo and they were actually rumored to trade Gasol and Odom to us for Paul which was even worse. Board goes into slight meltdown.

3rd) Details come out about Houston being a third team. When we find out what we're getting fans calm down and start to love the trade.

4th) Stern rejects the deal. this board is in full-on meldown mode and everyone is ready to give up.

5th) Rumors are that talks resume. People feel a little better but everyone is still pretty pissed.

6th) More rumors come out that we submitted a deal and we are getting more in return this time. everyone goes from saying "frick Stern" to "Stern is a fricking genius." overall attitude is positive.

7th) Lakers back out of trade. Everyone is back to the "we're fricked" mode and back to the "frick stern" mode.

THAT is the definition of a fricking emotional roller coaster. this is the 3rd time I went from being really excited to devastated. I'm sick of this shite.

Yeah. They are trading Odom to get a TPE so they can take on Hedo in a possible Howard trade.

No, they just have to sell a third team on Rondo.
