No idea — I was told there was interest from more than half the league not just the Lakers/Nets-Knicks and Celtics — so I have no idea who wins out with New Orleans

Changes everything If so. Every team knows where AD wants to go.. Some team is bound to swing for the fences before it's over

I'd venture to say 29 teams have interest.

"Hey Griff, what would it take from us to get AD... Uh huh... Yeah... Oh....him too?...Okay well good luck with that. "

Good news for us. Let the bidding wars begin.

What teams with assets that haven’t been discussed yet may make a dark horse offer?

For the purposes of discussion, we should consider the Celtics, Lakers, Clippers, Nets, Raptors, and Blazers to have been already covered.

More people having any interest at all is good for us.

Except in LakerLand where more teams bidding is somehow bad?

Of course there is. Let's see who drops more than Tatum, Smart and picks for a possible rental, though.

A team I keep thinking about is Miami. Sure they don’t own their 2021 but they own others and they have some pieces that could work...

Winslow, Adebayo, Olynyk, Richardson, Jones

Adebayo, Richardson, and Winslow intrigue me the most.

They don’t have a strong enough centerpiece for a trade IMHO.

They may find their way in on the periphery as a third or fourth team but they don’t have what it takes in talent or picks to get AD.

Absolutely. I just think it's funny he said half the teams are interested.

Every team is interested, but to what degree are they interested.

Very few teams can match the Lakers, Knicks, or Celtics offers.

A week ago this guy said the Celtics were out. Now half the league is in. I get that those aren't mutually exclusive but come on...

My favorite dark horse, kind of "out there" offer, would be a package centered around Ayton from the Suns. And, I know this would be a stupid move/risk by the Suns, but with Sarver at the helm it could easily happen. Plus, who thought we'd get Boogie for what we did? The NBA is weird sometimes...

That would be great news but I can't believe that many teams are seriously considering trading for Davis. Maybe as part of a three-way deal?
