"That kid in New Orleans, Davis. He's great."

First immediate answer. Today on the Pardon My Take podcast.

Just thought that was pretty cool

I don't think Kareem quite got the PMT humor. Decent interview though.

Save for the injuries and the season where uncle Al made him take too many threes, AD has been progressing as expected. He's not really comparable to any former NBA player imo. He's probably the third best guy in the league if he had less injuries and less dleaguers around him.

He's not even in his prime yet ffs

Hen, they are funny on Twitter & post good content but holy shite they waste good guests with that godawful frat house humor shtick. If it wasn't full throttle all the time it wouldn't be so bad

You know, I don't get why people don't really argue much for Kareem being the best player of all time. He won as many championships, got more MVPs than Jordan, and is the all time leading scorer, yet he doesn't get enough mention in the GOAT conversation.

So LBJ wont be ever considered as GOAT because of his college (lack of) career?

I don't think that was the argument he was making. Few people hold Lebron not going to college against him. He was just pointing out that Kareem had more success in college than Jordan. I'm not saying that Kareem is better than Jordan, I just don't get why people don't mention his name as often when they have the GOAT discussion.

He could be. I just factor college career in when comparing jordan and kareem

Kareem is also scoring and rebound leader. Also top five in assists and blocks.

It is hard to compare players in different times.

Russell. KAJ. MJ.
Where to put Bird, Chamberlain, Magic.
LBJ might be considered alongside those legends. And is still in his prime. Which is magnificent. When he will finish his career - then we may start debating...

We will see how long he will remain on his level and will he lead Cavs past Warriors...
