Great players like KD and Lebron were able to carry their teams to the playoffs because they were always there and healthy to win games.

KD also played with Westbrook and Harden during his career.

Lebron is probably the second greatest player of all time.

I think if AD was the only one having these minor injuries it would be handled differently. Since they are in situations where they are playing from behind constantly with the other guys injured they are just cautious as AD has a lot of career ahead of him.

It's beginning to look like it's time to take a vacation from the board.

Yes it is. He will never "reach his potential". He is too soft. How many games did he miss this year?

AD isn't soft. Don't listen to folks who are talking about him for various nefarious reasons.

I hope you're not dumb enough to believe that.

The franchise is rightfully extremely cautious

I understand being overly cautious but we're talking about a sprained ankle here. I can't question a professional athletes pain tolerance but to sit those 2 games in the heat of the playoff race, I hope it was bad. And I'm sure it was.

I mean...the guy hasn't been able to stay healthy over the first three years of his career and is missing games down the stretch of a playoff push.

Yea, this is the first time it's really been questioned because we actually have a chance to get in.

His body will never hold up for him to carry a team deep into playoffs.

How many games has he carried the team? How many games would you have won without him?

This is the kind of fricked up stuff that makes me hope me gets moved where a KID with his talent can be appreciated.

Wondering whether or not he can stay healthy for most of an 82 game season + playoffs isn't a lack of appreciation for him as a player. I would imagine most Pelicans fans want to see the team win a title...that simply isn't going to be happen if he consistently misses time, no matter how many times he "carries" the team.

We have some idiotic fans but it's terrible to insinuate that we don't appreciate his talents.

That's just false
