Is it safe to say AD isn't reliable?

Great players like KD and Lebron were able to carry their teams to the playoffs because they were always there and healthy to win games. AD can't stay healthy if he was able to play majority of the games this team would be 10 games over .500.

I'm more interested to see AD when they stop babying him, and I don't think that's the wrong approach to take. KD and LeBron play through nagging injuries, the team does not allow AD to do that.

I have no idea to be honest, but missing basically 15+ games for 3 straight years pisses me the frick off. This whole team is injury prone, and it sucks.

AD is a top 3 talent in the NBA, and I hope this is just him growing into his body still. We need him desperately if the Pels are ever to win a title.

I believe you hit the nail on the head. I have thought all along that because of his later in life growth spurt he may struggle with injuries. Bone and tissue density and other factors may be affecting him at least for a while. JMHO.

A 22-year-old in his 3rd NBA season failing to drag an injury riddled team to the playoffs in this conference is not cause for concern, especially given the nature of AD's injuries.

He hasn't had a micro fracture or an exploded knee or a Ryno-style neck injury. He's missed games here and there with fluky injuries because fair or not, the organization is super cautious with him.

Panicking and calling him unreliable is ridiculous at this stage in his career.

Even if I did, what the hell would that have to do with this topic or anything I said in my previous post?

Are you honestly trying to compare the two?
