Shabazz or Otto, either of those guys would be great for this team.

I know we have Gordon but the more and more I see of Oladipo the more and more I like him. He's is unbelievably athletic and reminds me of the young Dwayne Wade.

Do you think Otto Porter is a top 10 pick?

So he's basically a ball dominant guard that can't shoot and turns it over too much? I realize I haven't seen him play, but what am I missing?
Nothing as far as i'm concerned.

I compared him to MKG in another thread. He's just more physically gifted than everybody he plays in college, and like MKG, he isn't very skilled. He's gonna get drafted top 5 based on a great attitude, defensive potential, and a lot of his "intangibles."

I love the "intangibles guys." Every team needs them, but not with a top 5 pick.

All of the summaries about the players are pretty old.

How is that a good analysis about Shabazz when it is from right after his Junior year of High School.

And Zeller's is from during his senior year of high school.

I wasn't scouring the net for scouting reports so I used the ones from the mock I was looking at. Just wanted to give a general idea of who could possibly be taken by the Hornets. It's not meant to be the bible

Definitely. Everybody seems to think so at this point.

The omly point I'd take is Trey Burke, I think he is going to be an allstar level player in this league

my personal board as of now is

1 Noel- i just think he & Davis in the frontcourt would give team fits, and he would add some much needed athleticism to this team

2 Muhammad- a wing player with + athleticism who can score the ball. THe Hornets #1 need.

3 Porter - reminds me a lo of granger. bill tall wing player that can score the ball. Again, big need.

4 Oladipo- huge energy, very athletic, scores efficiently. Reminds me of a poor mans DWade. I think of anyone listed, he has the chance to be a much better pro than what he is college player; and he is already pretty solid. At worst, i think he is a 6th man-quasi starter for a really good NBA team.

I give you Terry Teagle
played 732 games in the NBA (regular season and playoffs), averaging 11.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

what a weird comparison

Thats not a mock draft though, fwiw. Its just a ranking. They have him 11th. They're still making the mistake of having Isaiah Austin in their top 10.

If Austin stays in school he's gonna have one of those Mcadoo type falls, if he already hasn't.

They still have Nerlen Noel at number 1, so I'd take that with a grain of salt. Their mock is definitely outdated.

Zero offense and one mangled knee, no thanks. Will he even be able to jump prior to the draft?

Its says top 100 players in big letters.

The mock draft section is just their top 100 list all over again. Its says in bold at the top that teams needs weren't taken into account.

They don't start doing real mocks until after the lottery.

Okay, then, it's up to date, but I have several issues with it. If my GM drafted Noel #1 overall, I'd light my torch.
