Ya I know there's no way Denver would go for it but that instantly would put us into title contention. Still would have to improve the bench though.

Side note about Rivers:

His PER is at nearly 16 right now which crushes the past 2 years to date.

He playing very well according to advanced.

His shooting numbers have improved and his AST:TO has as well.

2013: 40.5/36.4/63.6
2014: 57.4/41.7/61.5 (i still cannot comprehend his FT%)

APG: 2.3->2.6
TOV: 1.1->1.0

Just looking at his stats last year, he was better than Salmons last year, but not much. Both definitely are at the tail ends of their careers looking at the statistical decline and well below average players. I'm not sure he does help us any.

AK47 may be a bit washed up but I have a feeling he can thrive at least defensively playing with us instead of Brooklyn.

He was pretty good in his one season with the Wolves two years ago, so I think his issues were chemistry in Brooklyn.
