He's not saying what you think he's saying. Merely that he likes the Pelicans Mardi Gras alternate uniforms almost as much as the Saints' color rush jerseys -- not that the Pelicans should adopt the Saints' color scheme.

Not too long ago the official Pelicans twitter account put out a poll asking fans to rank their favorite uniforms from this past year. I believe it was the earned, reds, whites, and navy sets. If I remember correctly, it wasn’t long after Griffin and company were brought in. I’m hoping that it was a gauge/hint that next season we go with the earned as the “home” and the reds as the “aways” as part of a “new identity” and we start to distance ourselves from the blander white & navy originals.

Would like Reds for home and maybe a slight rework of the blues for away games. Mardi Gras as 3rd. Our white uni is very bland

the original Pels unis the font was even smaller than they are now. thankfully they fixed that pretty quickly
