I'm completely dumbfounded how even ONE person could NOT like this deal

Much less most of you thinking this was a bad deal.
Not to mention, the Hornets are probably not done dealing yet.
I think Demps got the best deal possible, WAY better than anyone could have expected.
This is nuts.

It's a great deal, considering our circumstances.
A lot of Hornets fans aren't the brightest.

Because most people are casual NBA followers at best and only watch the Hornets.

I agree. Im tempted to start the "Hornets are a better team now," thread but it would be useless at the moment.
I think we're a better, more balanced team

This is a perfect example of how we will never see champions to the likes of Michael Jordan and Larry Bird again. They used to get it done themselves along with role players. Today, "superstars" like LeBron/Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul/Kobe have to team in order to win a championship!

the guy with the Atthehive.com website seems to be the only one on twitter that really dislikes it, but he seems like a huge whiny bitch.

If the report that draft picks are involved is accurate, then I agree.

Pippen-Maybe the GOAT defensive player
McHale
parrish
DJ-was an MVP I think
Just a few hall of famers, or role players, I guess we're calling HOFers now.
Good to see a few guys in here agree, I can't understand anything other than being totally happy with what we've gotten so far.

No player will ever win all by his self ask... Mchale, Parrish, Pippen, Rodman, Grant, Worthy and etc.

The Hornets just conceded the West for the foreseeable future.

As opposed to...
Keeping Paul and getting nothing next season?
Trading him to boston for Rondo/Green?
What would have been better than what we got? give me one plausible scenario that another team was willing to deal with.

Yeah I'm pretty happy with the way things are looking. Please let the Iggy deal happen too.

In what fantasy land were we going to overtake them in the next 3 years regardless?
