I want David West to win a ring

Even though the Spurs keep winning and ruined us in 2006, I always root for them because I love Parker, Duncan, Ginobli, and Pop. You just can't hate them.
With that said, I also want Ddub to get a ring. He was one of our best players on the best New Orleans team to date. (post Charlotte team...not considering the Jazz)

The only Spurs team I even remotely had a problem with was when they had Bowen and Horry. Those were some dirty playing bastards. But looking back at it now CP3 was hardly innocent in all that.

Horry had a large part in injuring West with some elbows to the back if I recall. I might be off on that though. Bowen without a doubt is a shite stain.

I used to actually get frustrated at Paul when he used to run in front of a defensive player running back in transition and would just throw the ball up in the air and flail his arms.

My all time favorite hornican. Even though CP3 was our best player he was the heart and soul of those teams. I want to see him win a ring so bad. Dude deserves it

Absolutely agree. I always pull for the Spurs in the playoffs (with a couple of notable exceptions ).

For me, this is more about the Spurs, and less about West. Zero interest in pulling for them regardless of who is on the team.

I am as amused today as I was 5 years ago when people would bitch about West. He was one of the very best players to ever play for N.O. on the floor of the Arena.

To be fair he did have his annoying quirks that if nothing else are humorous to joke about.
Like how he never took ownership of missed assignments on defense(though I always thought the criticism was overblown too much by low IQ fans).
Then there was the mentioned ANNNDDD 1!!! Which he cried out after every shot near the rim...Even if it was on a fast break in an empty gym.
Still, love the guy and what he did for the team and want to see him get his ring.

I get it. For me, though, any of that was outweighed by those timely rebounds he did get, his toughness, and his absolutely killer fall away jumper.
