Dijon Murray is not good, why do people listen to shamit / Tulane Jake/ Mason from Michigan?

We definitely should have done everything possible to pickup a Gafford/Nick Richards type of big body. We are one injury away (Valancunias calf bruise) from Zeller having to play meaningful minutes

I would have moved JV or nance for Gafford. The wizards traded him for a bad contract in Holmes and the 26th right now in the 24 draft.

If we sent JV and our 24 1st lottery protected we could’ve probably gotten 2-3 2nds back with Gafford. Maybe more.

I really don’t like going into the offseason without a starting center

The thing is we don’t reallly know what deals were truly available to the Pels. We can only speculate.

It’s hard to believe we couldn’t have picked up a C from one of the many shite teams in the league. Drummond really would have been a great get, don’t know why the Bulls made no moves

Their gm said they are making a playoff run- which honestly is dumb from a basketball standpoint. Even ownership supposedly approved a rebuild. The thing with the Bulls is they lead the league in attendance and their fans constantly go to games despite them being bad. Financially, it makes sense for them to aim for the playoffs even though logically they should be rebuilding.

Yeah, I don’t see the point in pushing to make the playoffs as a play-in team only to get stomped by the Bucks or 76ers round one. They are going to end up letting Derozan and Drummond walk for free when everyone knows they have a 0.00% chance of making a significant playoff run

Everyone thinks they can be the heat or lakers and make a deep run from the play-in; its honestly dumb and why certain teams didn’t become sellers.

The front office can't tank because their jobs aren't safe. It's year 4 for them and only 1 playoff appearance show for it. If they don't find some success soon, it'll be the end of that regime.

Its weird how one injury completely derailed them. Lonzo Ball’s injury was so detrimental to that team. When he played they were one of the best teams in the east. As pelican fans know- injuries are everything.
