I'm starting to think MrPel's feeling might have just been indigestion.

I personally HATE clubs and move many of the bars in Nola. I also think it's one of the wildest cities there is considering it never sleeps. I also understand it's not for everyone, though.

There isn't a single GM in the world that would take Holliday over those 2.

Over Chandler Parsons? I bet there are a few that would if Jrue's injury checks out.

They are trying hard on multiple fronts to get all the contracts done without having to renounce Frazier's QO. The signees are being patient and aren't rushing the Pels to make it official. My gut is that if Tyreke isn't moved by the 11th, then he will be here once the season starts, so we will know soon enough

Do you have any idea what Ferry's role in this has been? Collaborator, decision maker, salesman to convince Loomis/Benson that a meh offseason is a good offseason? This honestly is what we were looking for when we first got Demps to supposedly emulate the Spurs. Finding diamonds in the rough on the cheap, not trading as many assets as it took to get the most talented players you could as quickly as possible.

This was the strategy that Dell/Gentry/Erman decided on months ago. Ferry has mostly been an evaluator of talent. A guy who says, "Yeah, he can give you guys what you are looking for." Or no, he can't

But the theme of this offseason (hard working, high IQ, defense) was a result of the season and Gentry having to work with the guys he had to work with. Erman is no nonsense too, and he was straight forward with how the guys on last years roster were the exact opposite of what he wanted.

If you like this offseason, those three guys deserve 90 percent of the credit

Do you know if any team has offered anything for Tyreke or is Dell trying to get to much for him

I do not know any of the specifics of any trade talks or what we want/are willing to take for him

But I do know that they really want to find a way to bring Frazier back if possible. But it's not do or die

Which is why is important to have other basketball minds. Before Dell doing on his own he looked at one thing talent. I like the moves but feel we still need a better mixture. We can't depend too much on solid smart players. You need the talent along with it.

Yeah but you can't do that kind of makeover in one offseason where the prices are this inflated. Zach Lowe's latest podcast touched on potential ramifications of the 17/18 cap being $102 instead of the $107 and $110 many teams were planning on. Basically a lot of teams spent more than they should have and teams projecting things like Max cap space are wrong. Moore and Hill need to produce way less than someone like Crabbe to not be seen as an albatross contract.

Hopefully this gets you to a place where you can start adding more talent next year.
